Streamline Planning Consultants
Located in Arcata, performs planning services for the City. This includes processing planning permits (coastal development permits, design review, use permits, variances, lot line adjustments, subdivisions and grading permits) by reviewing projects for conformance with City ordinances, writing staff reports and posting and sending out public notices). Other planning tasks consist of advising the Planning Commission and providing staff support at meetings, updating the City's General Plan, and completing specific projects at the request of the Planning Commission or City Council, such as the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Management Program.
Winzler & Kelly, Consulting Engineers
Located in Eureka, performs engineering services for the City. Services include designing and overseeing such projects as road construction and repair, water plant improvements, and specific grant projects such as the Gateway and Walkway projects. The City Engineer also reviews and comments on planning and other permit applications for the City.
Humboldt County Department of Environmental Health of the Health Department
Located in Eureka, phone 445-6215. Regulates and permits the design and placement of septic systems for residences and businesses in Trinidad. The Health Department also regulates such activities as food preparation.
